Travel nursing in Fairport offers the unique chance to broaden your clinical expertise while working in a dynamic telemetry setting. Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment; schedule provided upon interview
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of New York (or compact license)
- Minimum of 1 year of recent telemetry experience as a Registered Nurse
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Excellent communication, assessment, and critical thinking abilities
- Flexibility to adapt quickly to new environments and patient populations
- Deliver patient-centered care in a high-acuity telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, recognizing and responding to changes
- Administer medications and interventions according to established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members on care planning
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions
