• The Certified Nursing Aide, under the supervision of the Head Nurse/Charge Nurse is responsible for direct person care activities to a designated group of residents.

• Provide activities of daily living needs for an assigned group. Activities include bathing, oral care, special skin care, care of hands and nails, dressing/undressing, feeding, toileting and ambulation.
• Assist in maintaining resident's clothing, personal belongings and equipment in a clean safe and orderly environment.
• Capable of lifting and transfer activities using principles of body mechanics, using lifting equipment as per established plan of care.
• Assist with recreational programs such as exercises, picnics and inter-generational programs.

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate in the State of New York.
