** Licensed Practical Nurse - NYP Medical Group Brooklyn - Primary Care & Multispecialty
** The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct patient care as delegated by and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Contributes to the plan of patient care and assists in providing a therapeutic environment. Functions within the policies and procedures of the hospital, divisions, and the Clinical Nursing Departments.
** This is a 37.5 scheduled work week, Monday-Friday with one Saturday a month schedule with a varied schedule of 8:00AM to 5:00PM hours located in 50 Court Street, Brooklyn, NY. Must be willing to travel to cover at other locations within Brooklyn Medical group locations.**##
** Preferred Criteria
*** Specialty practice experience
** Required Criteria**:
* Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* Current Licensure and registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State
* Phlebotomy Skills
* Knowledge in Principles of infection control
* Knowledge in Principles of performance improvements
* Knowledge in Principles of delegation
