* Job Summary:

** As a
** Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)**, you will provide general and regional anesthesia services to patients under the supervision of an attending anesthesiologist. The CRNA will also provide preoperative anesthesia services in the Pre-Anesthesia Assessment Center in collaboration with the attending anesthesiologist.
*
* Job Responsibilities:

*** Prepare the anesthesia cart and necessary supplies.
* Prepare and check the anesthesia machine prior to procedures.
* Requisition, prepare, and label perioperative medications.
* Conduct preoperative patient evaluations.
* Obtain appropriate intravenous access.
* Apply all required patient monitoring equipment.
* Document all anesthesia department records in a timely and legible manner.
* Document all perioperative pharmacological interventions.
* Document all perioperative non-pharmacological interventions and events on the anesthesia record.
* Provide patient report to PACU nursing staff following procedures.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment in the operating room and anesthesia areas.
* Notify anesthesia technicians of equipment issues or supply needs.
* Maintain accurate counts of all controlled substances used.

* Job Requirements:

*** Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP) from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program recognized by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA).
* Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
* Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
