Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - CRNA - Weill Cornell Medical Center – Per Diem

Overview

At New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) deliver patient-centered care for all types of surgical procedures. Our team at Weill Cornell provides anesthesia for cardiac, vascular, neurosurgery, pediatrics and obstetrics. Nurse Anesthetists administer general, regional and monitored anesthesia care for scheduled and emergency surgical, obstetric and diagnostic procedures. In addition, CRNAs provide one-on-one anesthesia instruction for Columbia University and Fairfield University’s Nurse Anesthesia Program.

The David H. Koch Ambulatory Surgery Center opened in 2018 and expanded in 2020 to house the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Women’s Hospital. Our CRNAs are committed to integrated, innovative patient care and to achieving strong surgical outcomes with leading technology."

• Provide general, regional and monitored anesthesia care for a variety of surgical, obstetric and diagnostic procedures.
• Deliver one-on-one anesthesia instruction as part of academic collaborations.
• Participate in shared clinical decision-making and contribute to a collaborative leadership and professional environment.

This is a per diem position located at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Monday–Saturday coverage is required.

• Certification as a Nurse Anesthetist
• Master's of Science in Nursing
• Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
• BCLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
