Location: New York
An exciting Neonatal Nurse Practitioner opportunity is available at a premier Level IV NICU in New York City, supporting one of the most advanced women's and newborn care environments in the country. This role is ideal for experienced NPs who thrive in high-acuity neonatal critical care settings
.
- Work in a Level IV NICU highest acuity neonatal care setting
- Flexible staffing options:
full-time or part-time day/night roles - Opportunity to work in a top-tier academic women's & newborn hospital
- Strong clinical exposure in delivery room + NICU management
- Possibility of extension through end of year
- Location: New York City
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 8:30 PM
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 8:30 AM
- Duration: 13 weeks (high likelihood of extension)
- 4 Part-Time OR 2 Full-Time NPs (Night Shift)
- 2 Part-Time OR 1 Full-Time NP (Day Shift)
- Advanced neonatal care in a Level IV NICU
- Newborn admissions and initial stabilization
- Ongoing management of critically ill neonates
- Coordinating care from admission through discharge
- Delivery room coverage for high-risk births
- Case management and multidisciplinary collaboration
- EMR:
Epic - Level IV NICU (highest acuity neonatal care setting)
- Strong interdisciplinary team environment (neonatology, nursing, OB, pediatrics)
- Active New York State NP license (required)
- Minimum 2 years recent Level IV NICU experience
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID & Flu
- Strong experience in critical neonatal care and delivery room coverage
- Comfort managing high-acuity newborn cases independently and in teams
- Experienced Neonatal NP in Level IV NICU environments
- Strong in critical thinking under high-pressure situations
- Comfortable with delivery room and intensive neonatal management
- Flexible for day or night shift coverage
