Job Summary
Nyack Ridge Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, the premier skilled nursing and rehab facility serving Rockland and Westchester Counties, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Supervisor (RN) to oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of our short-term rehab unit. As a key leader, you will ensure high standards of patient care, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective coordination between staff, residents, and families.

- Supervise and coordinate all nursing activities on the short-term rehab unit
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in accordance with facility policies, state, and federal regulations
- Provide leadership, guidance, and evaluation for nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
- Monitor patient progress and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans
- Foster a supportive, patient-centered environment that promotes respect and dignity for all residents
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards
- Act as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, therapists, residents, and families
- Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and care planning meetings
- Valid RN license in the State of New York (NYS)
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations
- Experience with EMR systems and strong organizational skills
- Commitment to quality care, resident satisfaction, and staff development
- Competitive salary based on experience: $50 - $55 HOURLY
