RN Registered Nurse Unit Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced RN Registered Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at Greene Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a 120-bed facility located in Catskill, NY. As a Unit Manager, you will play a critical role in leading our nursing team to provide high-quality care to our residents. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with a competitive salary.

• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants in a fast-paced post-acute care setting
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, ensuring comprehensive and timely care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to deliver holistic care
• Conduct regular rounds to ensure resident needs are met, and address any concerns or issues that arise
• Develop and manage nursing budgets, ordering supplies and equipment as needed
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, Joint Commission standards, and company policies

• Current RN license in the state of New York
• Prior experience in long-term care or post-acute care
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
