North
In this role, you will provide clinical operations oversight for the medical and psychiatric inpatient unit (11 North), ensuring the delivery of safe, high‑quality, and efficient patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a transformational leader through shared governance, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional excellence
- Mentor, supervise, and evaluate staff, supporting their growth and development while promoting engagement and retention
- Oversee daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation, to ensure optimal unit performance
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial accountability and effective utilization of resources
- Continuously assess unit operations and implement process improvements to enhance patient experience, safety, and outcomes
- Partner with senior leadership to support strategic initiatives and drive a culture of continuous improvement
- Act as a change agent, leading and advancing initiatives that improve quality, performance, and operational excellence across the unit
- At least 3 years of RN experience in Psychiatric Nursing
- Master’s degree in nursing or related field
- Current New York State RN license
- Demonstrated leadership competencies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
- Previous leadership and collaborative experience
- Strong business acumen and communication skills
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and quality improvement practices
- American Nurses Credentialing Center approved national board Certification
Mandatory on‑site presence (variable by role). Must reside within a commutable distance to NYP.
NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range$170,000 - $217,000 / Annual
