Part Time, 3 days per week, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

TAG Med Staffing is hiring a Part‑Time Registered Nurse (Residential Services) in Queens County, NY for our client, supporting clinical care, case management, and nursing oversight within residential care environments. This temporary role focuses on coordinating services across multiple sites, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining compliance with clinical and regulatory standards. The position offers a consistent part‑time schedule and the opportunity to work independently in a community‑based setting.

Responsibilities

as the Part‑Time Registered Nurse (Residential Services)
  • Clinical Oversight: Provide supervision and coordination of medical care for residents across multiple sites.
  • Assessment and Planning: Conduct health assessments and develop individualized care plans to support resident needs.
  • Case Management: Coordinate medical services including appointments, lab work, and follow‑up care.
  • Medication Management: Lead medication training and support safe administration practices.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Review clinical records to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.
Qualifications for the Part‑Time Registered Nurse (Residential Services)
  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required.
  • Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State is required.
  • Experience: 1–2+ years of clinical experience with experience supporting OPWDD programs is required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with developmental disabilities, mental health, or long‑term care environments is preferred.

    Skills:

    Proficiency in electronic health records and basic computer applications is required.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, and effective communication skills are required.
