The Travel Registered Nurse (RN) in Antepartum will provide specialized care for patients during their antepartum period. This role is ideal for experienced nurses looking for flexible travel opportunities.

• Assess the patient’s physiologic health status.
• Conduct patient interviews and explain policies and procedures.
• Assess gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, and neurological health status.
• Determine mobility, sensory deficits, prostheses use, and skin condition.
• Assess level of pain and pain management.
• Communicate and document patient’s physiologic health status and plan of care.
• Assess patient’s psychosocial health status.
  
  Elicit perception of medical/nursing care and expectations.
• Develop criteria for measurement of patient outcomes.
• Formulate the plan of care and establish priorities to achieve expected outcomes.

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

• 1-2 years of professional nursing experience in the related specialty required.

• Current RN License in New York required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS, NRP, NCC-EFM, and Intermediate AWHONN certifications required.
