The Nursing Supervisor ensures residents' health and well-being, supervises nursing staff during the shift, and performs additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
Shift Options- Evenings: 2 pm - 10 pm
- Nights: 10 pm - 6 am
- Respond promptly to residents' requests.
- Supervise nursing care and staff on all units.
- Promote facility safety and serve as Infection Preventionist Nurse.
- Cover nursing services in the absence of senior management.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Caring, compassionate, empathetic attitude.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Team-focused and supervisory abilities.
- State license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Minimum two years of nursing experience and one year in leadership.
- Interest or experience in geriatrics.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Experience with dementia population is desirable.
