Position Overview

The Nursing Supervisor ensures residents' health and well-being, supervises nursing staff during the shift, and performs additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

Shift Options
  • Evenings: 2 pm - 10 pm
  • Nights: 10 pm - 6 am
Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to residents' requests.
  • Supervise nursing care and staff on all units.
  • Promote facility safety and serve as Infection Preventionist Nurse.
  • Cover nursing services in the absence of senior management.
Skills & Competencies
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Caring, compassionate, empathetic attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Team-focused and supervisory abilities.
Qualifications
  • State license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Minimum two years of nursing experience and one year in leadership.
  • Interest or experience in geriatrics.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Experience with dementia population is desirable.
