- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience:
- Scrub & Circulating duties (mandatory)
- CVOR experience (required)
- IV insertion & phlebotomy skills
- Conscious sedation experience
- Active New York State RN license (Primary Source Verification required)
- AHA BLS & ACLS (required)
- Procedural Expertise: pre‑op, intra‑op, and post‑op patient management; sterile technique; surgical instrumentation; assisting surgeons; emergency response (e.g., hemorrhage control, rapid transfusions)
- Patient Care: monitoring anesthesia/sedation; handling high‑acuity cases (trauma, cardiovascular, etc.)
- Facility Type:
Level 1 Trauma Center (Bellevue Hospital) - Case Mix: includes complex trauma, vascular, and general surgeries (CVOR focus)
