Program Director of Nursing Education – Nursing Professional Development (NPD) at NYP/Queens Hospital. Oversee daily operations of nursing education services for a 535‑bed Level1 Trauma Center.
Responsibilities- Plan, develop, implement, evaluate, and manage nursing education services within the Division of Nursing.
- Develop and maintain processes that support Nursing Education and promote evidence‑based nursing practice.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and regulatory agency requirements.
- Act as a change agent and partner with leadership to foster continuous growth in a collaborative environment.
- Lead and mentor staff to become transformational leaders through shared governance.
- Master’s degree in nursing or related field (or BSN with Master’s).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher, New York State RN license.
- Certification in Nursing Professional Development.
- Minimum five (5) years of education experience and progressive leadership experience in nursing.
- Excellent organizational skills and knowledge of clinical education and teaching principles.
This is a full‑time Monday‑Friday, 8AM–4:15PM day shift position requiring on‑site presence. Employees are expected to live within commutable distance to NYP; travel expenses will not be reimbursed.
Salary Range: $151,000–$191,500/Annual.
