Certified Nurse Midwife Schedule

• Full‑time
• 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• No evenings, weekends, or holidays

• $118,000 to $140,000+ base salary (negotiable by experience)

Westchester, New York

The Certified Nurse Midwife will work in a collaborative environment with physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff, delivering prenatal and postpartum care in outpatient and inpatient settings. The provider will ensure focus on patient care through the support of clinical assistants and on‑site management.

• Obtain detailed, accurate patient histories.
• Perform physical examinations and identify problems.
• Interpret information to determine plans for OB/GYN patient care.
• Initiate and interpret diagnostic procedures.
• Order and interpret labs, radiology, fetal heart rate tracing, and other studies as appropriate.
• Provide OB/GYN patient counseling and education.
• Prescribe medications and administer injections or intravenous medications as necessary.
• Collect diagnostic fluids (blood, urine, sputum, exudates, etc.).
• Interpret non‑stress test results for OB/GYN patients.
• Assist / triage patients with problems or concerns.
• Screen for postpartum depression in OB/GYN patients.
• Participate in call rotation at an affiliated hospital under physician supervision.
• Attend uncomplicated vaginal deliveries and assist on C‑sections.
• Assist in ante‑partum / post‑partum patient care.
• Participate in ER call for OB/GYN emergencies.

• New York midwife license.
• Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) certification.
• Minimum one year of experience.

Office uses the Athena Health EHR.
