Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts are scheduled as 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM on an 8-week scheduling cycle, including every other weekend and holiday.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to mothers and newborns in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) setting.
• Monitor fetal and maternal health during labor and delivery.
• Assist in Caesarean births and manage a special care nursery.
• Support new graduate RNs and collaborate with a mix of experienced staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3+ years of OB experience preferred; candidates with less than 3 years may be considered if they have prior travel experience or have worked in a specialized OB setting.
• Current certifications in BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring are required.
• Must hold a valid RN license.
