About This Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) – Flex Staff position involves providing comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role is ideal for nurses who excel in collaboration and leadership within a healthcare team.

• Location: New York, NY
• Schedule: Full-Time

• Assess the patient’s physiologic health status.
• Conduct patient interviews and explain policies and procedures.
• Assess gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, and neurological health status.
• Determine mobility, sensory deficits, prostheses use, and skin condition.
• Assess level of pain and pain management.
• Communicate and document patient’s physiologic health status and plan of care.
• Elicit perception of medical/nursing care and expectations.
• Develop criteria for measurement of patient outcomes.
• Identify actual/potential patient problems and needs for teaching.
• Implement the plan of care and maintain constant vigilance over patient care.

Education:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years of professional nursing experience in the related specialty.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required.
• BLS certification required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
