RN Assistant Unit Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Unit Manager in managing daily operations of the nursing unit, including coordinating care, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies
- Provide direct patient care, including developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering medications, and performing various medical treatments
- Supervise and mentor Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure high-quality care and support
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement resident care plans, and to address resident needs and concerns
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care
- Maintain accurate and timely records of resident care, including documenting progress notes, medication administration records, and incident reports

RN Assistant Unit Manager Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a current NY State license
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with regulations and standards governing long-term care facilities
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, no weekends
