Acute Care – Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) - Employment Type:
Direct Hire, On-Site - Nursing Shift: 12 Hour Nights
- Hours per Week: 12
- Contract Duration: 52 weeks
- Start Date:
October 6, 2025 - Estimated Weekly Salary: $880 - $930
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience (PACU or post-anesthesia care experience preferred)
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Deliver high-quality post-anesthesia care to surgical patients in the PACU
- Monitor patient vital signs, pain management, and comfort levels
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams for safe patient transitions
- Accurately document patient care and progress in medical records
- Support patients and families throughout the recovery process
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant PACU environment
