Overview

- Licensed Practical Nurses are indispensable members of our interdisciplinary team, managing daily clinical regimens of residents and sub‑acute patients.
- Provide advanced care in a home‑like setting and supervise nursing assistants.
- State LPN license required.
- Administer medications and treatments to assigned residents according to physician orders and the five rights.
- Direct, monitor, and support nursing assistants in personal care duties and nursing procedures.
- Report changes in resident condition and progress to unit managers or charge nurse supervisors.
- Follow each resident’s Plan of Care and monitor nursing assistants’ implementation.
- Receive, store, and distribute controlled substances in accordance with protocol.
- Document in care plans, nursing notes, medical administration records, and other required records.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Problem‑solving and strong decision‑making ability.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Current state license as an LPN (or RN).
- LPN training and geriatric experience preferred.
- Ability to supervise and collaborate with staff.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Caring, respectful attitude toward residents.
- Physical stamina for constant activity.
- Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence.
- Intermediary or higher English language proficiency.
