Nursing Attendant – Labor and Delivery – Part Time – Night

Bring your smile to work, infuse energy and hospitality into a patient's day, and provide comfort and caring as an NYP nursing attendant, keeping our fast‑paced environments running smoothly.

Provide compassionate patient focus and perform select care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse. Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment. Measure and record temperatures, pulses, respiration and blood pressure. Demonstrate what it means to be part of a team and raise the bar for patient care.

This is a part‑time, night shift position, 11:00 pm–7:15 am, 5 shifts in a two‑week period, every other weekend, located at New York‑Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital.

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Current CPR Training from the American Heart Association is required

• Previous Nurse’s Aide experience in a hospital setting
• Certification from an approved accredited Nurse Aid training program
• Current enrollment in a BSN program – at the junior year level and/or completion of at least one clinical practicum

Please note that all roles require on‑site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Salary Range:

$24.60–$26.46 per hour
