Optum NY is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Lake Success, NY. Optum is a clinician‑led care organization that is changing the way clinicians work and live. As a member of the Optum Care Delivery team, you will be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone.

• Provide nursing care to patients/significant others via direct and/or telephone contact, following established standards and practices.
• Coordinate with other members of the care team to ensure seamless care delivery, maximal coordination of efforts, and active patient participation in planning and care.
• Assist physician or other provider with clinical procedures and participate in patient teaching.
• Provide direction to clerical assistants, medical assistants, and other non‑licensed personnel.

• Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing.
• New York State (NYS) license with current NYS registration, in good standing.
• Pediatrics experience.

• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• 1+ years of experience as a licensed practical nurse or 2+ years as a medical assistant in a pertinent practice area.
• Experience with pre‑authorizations.

Pay is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience and certifications. The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.38 to $36.44 per hour based on full‑time employment.
