Coordinates a patient-focused team in providing direct and collaborative health care in a variety of clinical settings designed to promote and restore optimal health across the life span. Utilizes all components of the nursing process in providing care that reflects an understanding of individual, cultural, and religious diversities and needs, and recognition of patient rights. Utilizes knowledge and expertise in case management to provide comprehensive, coordinated, seamless care to individuals and aggregate groups.
Coordinates, integrates, and facilitates the patient/provider relationship along the continuum of care.
Shift: Full-Time Mid-Shift
Hours: 11:00AM - 11:30PM
Pay Range: $62.78 - $78.63 per hour, depending on education and years of experience. Shift differentials apply.
Responsibilities- Review the pre-operative checklist. Confirm it is complete and accurate and sign as confirmation it has been reviewed.
- Prepare OR rooms as necessary including the proper functioning equipment and supplies to provide a clean and appropriate environment.
- Supervise and direct patient care in an individual operating room.
- Monitor the practice of unlicensed assistive personnel.
- “Scrubs” in as appropriate. Circulate as appropriate if assigned.
- Perform scrub duties as necessary.
- Perform circulating duties with efficiency and speed as per policy and process. Assist the scrub nurse as necessary.
- Active NYS RN license.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Med/Surg.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the Operating Room.
- American Heart Association BCLS required.
