About the PositionWe are seeking an experienced Perioperative Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a 13‑week assignment at a regional hospital in Manhasset, NY. The role involves leading nursing teams, overseeing patient care operations, managing daily nursing activities, mentoring staff, coordinating care plans, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities- Lead nursing staff in the operating room setting.
- Coordinate perioperative care plans and patient flow.
- Ensure compliance with state and facility regulations.
- Mentor and train staff on best practices.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Active New York RN license.
- BSN or equivalent nursing degree.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in an perioperative environment.
- Leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- SSN and DOB available for background check.
