This is a full-time, on-site role for a Nurse Midwife at Bronx Care Health System, located in Bronx, NY. We are a supportive service of twelve midwives. The Nurse Midwife will provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological care to clients, including family planning education and support. Responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, managing low-risk pregnancies, delivering babies, and collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
The Nurse Midwife will also participate in patient education, fostering a supportive environment for individuals and families in the community. Many opportunities in high risk clinic, teen clinic, family planning services and Centering Pregnancy.
- Proficient in Midwifery and Maternity care, including prenatal, labor, and postpartum management
- Experience preferred
- Ability to establish trust and deliver empathetic care to individuals and families
- Current licensure as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM/CM) and active RN license in the state of New York
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
