About This Role

The Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall strategic planning for all clinical programs, ensuring the implementation of the mission, philosophy, patient care standards, and nursing informatics to support quality nursing practice.

• Pay: $166,400 - $239,200 Annually
• Location: New York, NY
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Lead nursing practice using the tenets of the Professional Practice Model.
• Ensure integration of Purposeful Hourly Rounding into clinical activities.
• Design and support a safe, therapeutic patient-centered care environment.
• Oversee compliance with regulatory agency mandates.
• Provide administrative oversight to ensure efficient operations.
• Evaluate Associate Director/Clinical Nurse Manager performance.
• Foster a professional practice environment through collegial relationships.
• Encourage participation in quality and safety initiatives.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required;
  Master's degree preferred.

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive nursing leadership experience.

• Current RN License in New York.
• Child abuse certification required.
• Infection control certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
