About This Role

The Assistant Director of Nursing for the Perinatal Advance/Pediatric Asthma Program Coordinator oversees quality improvement initiatives and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care in the MOM AND BABY UNIT.

  • Schedule: Full-Time, Rotating
What You'll Do
  • Manage quality improvement (QI) program initiatives.
  • Abstract, analyze, and submit clinical performance data.
  • Monitor performance measures and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with OB, Pediatric, and Nursing leadership.
  • Develop clinical pathways and operational workflows.
  • Provide education and feedback to interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Support strategic planning for Perinatal and Pediatric programs.
  • Facilitate care transitions pre- and post-discharge.
  • Coordinate community outreach activities.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's Degree in Nursing Administration, Education, Clinical Specialty, or equivalent field required; or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing.
  • Experience: Five years of satisfactory nursing experience with three years in a supervisory or teaching capacity; or six years of satisfactory nursing experience with four years in a supervisory or teaching capacity.

    Certifications:

    Licensed and currently registered to practice as a professional nurse in New York State.
