About This Role
The Assistant Director of Nursing for the Perinatal Advance/Pediatric Asthma Program Coordinator oversees quality improvement initiatives and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care in the MOM AND BABY UNIT.
Highlights- Pay: $145,000 - $150,000/year
- Location: Bronx, NY
- Facility: Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center
- Department/Unit: MOM AND BABY UNIT 5B
- Schedule: Full-Time, Rotating
- Manage quality improvement (QI) program initiatives.
- Abstract, analyze, and submit clinical performance data.
- Monitor performance measures and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with OB, Pediatric, and Nursing leadership.
- Develop clinical pathways and operational workflows.
- Provide education and feedback to interdisciplinary teams.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Support strategic planning for Perinatal and Pediatric programs.
- Facilitate care transitions pre- and post-discharge.
- Coordinate community outreach activities.
- Education: Master's Degree in Nursing Administration, Education, Clinical Specialty, or equivalent field required; or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing.
- Experience: Five years of satisfactory nursing experience with three years in a supervisory or teaching capacity; or six years of satisfactory nursing experience with four years in a supervisory or teaching capacity.

Licensed and currently registered to practice as a professional nurse in New York State.
