The Offsite Registered Nurse I-Cardiology provides safe, competent, quality care to a designated group of patients, utilizing nursing theory and research. This role is ideal for those who are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

• Pay: $64.3087/hour
• Location: Brooklyn, NY
• Facility: Mount Sinai
• Department/Unit: B.H. Cardiology - OFFS
• Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift

• Deliver patient care using the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care.
• Assess and evaluate patient care needs, applying critical thinking skills.
• Integrate relevant assessment and intervention skills in nursing care delivery.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team on care plans.
• Prioritize patient care aspects including teaching and planning after hospital care.
• Educate patients and caregivers about their plan of care and health promotion.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team.
• Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing.
• Role model the tenets of Mount Sinai Relationship Centered Care.
• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families.

• Relevant clinical competence in nursing practice assigned; new graduates must possess current knowledge of the nursing process.

• Relevant clinical competence in area of nursing practice assigned.

• Licensed as a registered nurse with current registration in New York State.
