Shift: PRN | 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM or 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Salary: $60/hour

Position SummaryBriarcliff Manor Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care is seeking an experienced and compassionate RN Supervisor to join our nursing leadership team. This position is ideal for a clinically strong, hands‑on nurse leader who thrives in a fast‑paced skilled nursing environment and is committed to delivering exceptional resident care and staff support during evening and overnight operations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) and Associate DON with daily Nursing Department operations
- Supervise nursing staff and ensure quality resident care across assigned shifts
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, clinical standards, and state/federal regulations
- Conduct routine rounds to monitor resident care, safety, and staff performance
- Oversee medication administration and treatment schedules
- Provide direct nursing care and clinical support as needed
- Participate in resident assessments, care planning, and discharge planning
- Welcome and assist newly admitted residents and families
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Address staff concerns, performance issues, and workplace challenges professionally
- Assist during state surveys, audits, and inspections
- Conduct annual evaluations for LPNs and CNAs
- Active and unencumbered New York State RN license
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a hospital or skilled nursing facility
- At least 6 months of rehabilitative/restorative nursing experience
- Prior nursing home supervisory experience required
- Sigma Care experience preferred
