• Active LPN license within the state of South Carolina

• Communication:

• Documents completely and accurately

• Duties
• Discuss with patients their lab/x-ray results and provide necessary instructions under direction of physician
• Review charts daily for next-day appointments for completion
• Schedule procedures, tests, & appointments as instructed by physician and documented
• Document patient phone calls and prescription refills
• Perform capsule endoscopy
• Perform duties of a medical assistant in their absence
• Ensure recalls are kept current
• Verify pathology reports are received from hospitals for all inpatient and outpatient procedures
