Job SummaryAt Nyack Ridge Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, we are seeking an experienced RN Weekend Supervisor to provide clinical leadership during weekend shifts. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing all nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality resident care, and mentoring staff. Responsibilities- Supervise and support RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff during weekend shifts
- Ensure residents receive exceptional, compassionate, and individualized nursing care
- Conduct regular clinical rounds and assess resident conditions
- Respond promptly to changes in condition, emergencies, falls, admissions, and other clinical situations
- Serve as the primary nursing leader and resource for staff during weekend operations
- Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care, incidents, and nursing reports
- Monitor compliance with infection control practices, medication administration, and facility policies
- Mentor and coach nursing staff while promoting teamwork and professional development
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
- Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience
- At least one (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care facility strongly preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, leadership, and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Competitive hourly pay ($50-$55/hour)
