Job Description- Monitor and closely supervise all floor and dayroom activities
- Facilitate and/or participate in house meetings.
- Communicate all incidents to the appropriate supervisor in a timely manner.
- Provide feedback to primary counselors and treatment staff as needed.
- Collect and distribute all medical documentation when residents return from appointments, ensuring materials are provided to staff on duty or the facility nurse; file appropriately when necessary.
- Ensure all medical cards and follow-up actions are completed after resident appointments, including updating the primary counselor and facility nurse and scheduling all required follow-ups.
- Witness and document resident urine screenings and record alcohol sensor (breathalyzer) readings.
- Conduct routine house rounds to ensure the safety of residents and the facility; document findings in the staff communication log.
- During crisis situations, escort residents to the hospital as needed, report outcomes to staff, and document updates in the communication log while notifying team members via email.
Permanent position based out of New York, NY 10026.
