About This Role
The Staff Nurse - RN in the Ambulatory Surgery Operating Room at New York-Presbyterian is responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic surgical environment. This role is ideal for skilled nurses looking to thrive in a compassionate culture focused on excellent patient outcomes.
Highlights- Pay: $133,595-$153,220/Annual
- Location: New York, NY
- Facility: New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center
- Schedule: Full-time, Day Flex (Monday-Friday, 7:00am-7:30pm)
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the Ambulatory Surgery Operating Room.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Circulate and scrub during surgical procedures.
- Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions pre- and post-surgery.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
- At least two years RN experience in the Operating Room preferred
- Acute care experience preferred
- Current New York State RN license required
- BCLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- CNOR certification preferred
