Director of Nursing

Job Description

Immediate need for a Director of Nursing at an award winning skilled nursing facility in Margaretville, NY.

• Plan, organize, supervise and direct the general nursing care and treatment services of the hospital.
• Plan, develop and implement nursing programs, policies and procedures.
• Provide consultative, directive, and advisory services for the purpose of maintaining nursing standards of care for the facility.
• Ensure that the resources necessary for the provision of nursing services (i.e., personnel, equipment, budget, etc.) are available and that all nursing standards and regulations are met to comply with survey and licensure requirements.

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing as a RN; BSN preferred.
• 5 years clinical experience.
• 2 years supervisory experience.
