We are seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join a specialized pediatric healthcare team providing exceptional care to children and young adults with complex medical conditions in a long-term and post-acute care setting.

Schedule- Full-Time
- Night Shift
- 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Provide comprehensive medical care for pediatric residents with acute and chronic healthcare needs.
- Assess changes in patient condition and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform physical examinations, clinical assessments, and ongoing medical evaluations.
- Order medications, diagnostic testing, laboratory studies, and therapeutic interventions.
- Document patient encounters, assessments, and treatment plans within the electronic medical record.
- Respond to urgent clinical situations and provide emergency medical care when needed.
- Collaborate closely with registered nurses, physicians, rehabilitation specialists, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
- Participate in family meetings and communicate clinical updates with caregivers and healthcare providers.
- Coordinate transfers to acute care hospitals when clinically indicated.
- Review laboratory and diagnostic results, initiate appropriate follow-up, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Complete comprehensive progress notes and maintain accurate medical documentation.
- Support clinical education by mentoring nursing staff and serving as a resource for best practices.
- Assist with infection prevention initiatives and other quality improvement activities as needed.
- Participate in shift handoff to ensure safe continuity of care.
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
- Pediatric nursing experience required.
- Pediatric ICU (PICU or ICU) RN experience required for new graduate NPs.
- Experience caring for medically complex pediatric patients.
- Background in pediatric rehabilitation, post-acute care, long-term care, pediatric specialty care, or complex care nursing.
- Strong pediatric RN experience.
- A passion for caring for medically complex children.
- A desire to learn within a collaborative and supportive clinical environment.
- Work with an experienced interdisciplinary pediatric team.
- Care for children and young adults while building meaningful long-term relationships with patients and families.
