Implement the Nursing Process based on established Standards of Practice and ensure all patient care policies and procedures are adhered to in accordance with Garnet Health Medical Center Hospital policies, the Nurse Practice Act, and New York State Licensure requirements. Exhibit critical thinking, effectively organize and prioritize care, and implement evidence‑based nursing.

Minimum Education:

Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred.

Minimum Experience:

Cardiology/Telemetry experience preferred.

Required Certification/Registration:

• Licensed and registered in NY State to practice as a registered professional nurse.
• Successful completion of BLS Provider Course.
• Successful completion of cardiac arrhythmia interpretation course within three months of hire.
• ACLS prior to hire preferred.
• Maintains all required certifications for the areas assigned.

Position requires primarily medium to light work, lifting or carrying objects up to 50 pounds. Bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling and reaching are required. The position requires 20% sitting and 80% standing or walking. Expressing or exchanging ideas by spoken and written word is required.

The range for the role is $50.44–$77.58 hourly, not including bonuses or other forms of compensation. Salary transparency information is provided in compliance with New York State law.
