Location: Queens, NY
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Salary: $140,000 – $145,000 annually

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team at a premier skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Queens, New York
. In this key leadership role, you will partner with the Director of Nursing to oversee clinical operations, maintain regulatory compliance, promote quality improvement initiatives, and support the professional development of our nursing team. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with a passion for delivering exceptional resident care while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

• Assist in overseeing daily nursing operations and clinical services.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, NYSDOH, and all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
• Maintain continuous survey readiness and participate in regulatory inspections.
• Support the recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, coaching, and retention of nursing staff.
• Lead and participate in Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
• Educate clinical staff on best practices, infection prevention, and risk reduction strategies.
• Oversee the facility's risk management program, including incident and accident investigations.
• Analyze incident trends and implement corrective action plans to improve resident safety.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation and reporting of incidents and compliance matters.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance quality outcomes and resident satisfaction.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and resident‑centered care.
• Serve as a visible, supportive clinical leader throughout the facility.

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Current BLS/CPR Certification.
• Minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or similar supervisory role in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long‑term care setting.
• Previous experience in Quality Assurance (QA), Risk Management, or Regulatory Compliance strongly preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of CMS, NYSDOH regulations, and survey processes.
• Experience with Sigma Care and SNF Metrics preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.
