DescriptionTransform your career as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at New York‑Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital, the singular source of advanced care and caring for the 600,000 New Yorkers who live and work south of 14th Street. Our CRNAs administer, monitor, and manage patient care before, during, and after anesthesia. They perform pre‑anesthesia assessment, induction, maintenance of and emergence from anesthesia with the supervision of an attending anesthesiologist.

Our CRNAs deliver incredible care that is unseen anywhere else in the world, and are the heart of our peri‑operative teams, providing patient‑centered anesthesia care and monitoring recovery to make safe, effective, and historic surgeries possible.
- Pre‑anesthesia assessment and patient evaluation
- Administration and management of anesthesia during surgery
- Monitoring patients during and after anesthesia under attending anesthesiologist supervision
- Participation in a large volume of lumbar spine surgeries and a flourishing OB practice utilizing nitrous oxide, regional, and IV analgesia
- At least 1 year of experience as a CRNA
- Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP or DNAP)
- Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
- Master of Science in Nursing
- Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
- BCLS, ACLS
Salary Range: $270,000-$335,000 per annum

Employment RequirementsAll roles require on‑site presence; therefore, employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse travel expenses.
