The Professional RN Team Lead is responsible for time management, critical thinking, delegation, and prioritization in a healthcare setting. Direct patient care activities include assessment, monitoring, recording, and reporting of patients' conditions. The RN Team Lead collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to advocate for patients and may need to assume the role of LPN Med Cart as staffing permits.

• Demonstrate timeliness, critical thinking, and the ability to delegate and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor changes in their condition.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure high quality patient care.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical records (EMR).
• Participate in unit councils and staff meetings to promote best practices.
• Engage in physical activities related to patient care, including lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and standing for extended periods.

Availability for every other weekend and every other holiday, with floating to other units as staffing needs arise.

• Active RN state license.
• Completion of clinical competence education specific to the care area.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.

13 week contract position.
