Registered Nurse (RN)
Rate: $40 - $44.18/hour (depending on experience)
Shift: Full-Time, part-Time
Schedule: Days: 6:30 am – 7:30 pm, every other weekend | Nights: 6:30 pm – 7:30 am, every other weekend
Roscoe Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is looking to add a Registered Nurse (RN) to its nursing team. In this role you will provide high‑quality nursing care, perform clinical assessments, administer medications and treatments, and help ensure the health, safety, and well‑being of residents. - Provide nursing care in accordance with resident assessments, care plans, and facility policies
- Perform resident assessments and monitor changes in condition, communicating concerns to providers, supervisors, and families as appropriate
- Administer medications, treatments, IV therapies, and enteral feedings within the RN scope of practice
- Accurately document assessments, care provided, treatments, and resident responses
- Supervise and support Nursing Assistants to ensure quality resident care and timely completion of assigned tasks
- Coordinate care with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members
- Ensure resident care plans and clinical documentation remain current and accurate
- Follow infection control, safety, resident rights, and confidentiality standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing staff education activities
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred - Valid New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Current CPR certification required
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility or with the geriatric population preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
- Ability to supervise nursing assistants and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
