Position Overview

New York-Presbyterian Medical Group is looking for a Nurse Midwife to join a well-established practice located in Northern Westchester County, New York.

New York-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital is a fully accredited non-profit 128-bed facility offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services and ambulatory care. Our hospital has a Level III Neonatal ICU, Level II Nursery and a 14-bed Labor & Delivery Unit.

Midwives at our New York-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Medical Group are a cornerstone for women through all phases of their lives. Our midwives provide prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care for women, including underserved populations, acting as a vital resource for women and families throughout their entire life span.

Our Midwives practice full‑scope care for our patients as independent providers while also participating in consultation and collaboration with our physicians to meet the needs of our higher‑risk patients. Whether it be seeing patients in the office or taking call on Labor and Delivery, they provide a culture of empathy, collaborative decision making, and empowerment to women. Work in a newly built L&D unit designed with modern technology, patient‑centered workflows, and enhanced safety features created to support both exceptional outcomes and provider experience.

This is a full‑time (40 hour/week) Midwife position. Hours include one 24‑hour shift with two eight‑hour office days. Includes weekend & holiday coverage.

• 5+ years’ midwifery experience
• Bilingual – English/Spanish
• NRP certification

• Master’s degree in clinical specialty and certification required
• NYS Midwifery License
• BLS through the AHA

The salary range for this position is $160,000 to $180,000. This compensation range does not include our amazing benefits that may be applicable to this role.

We are also looking for per diem nurse midwives; the per diem rate is $105.00/hour.
