Campbell Hall Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and results driven Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to lead our 46-bed Short-Term Rehabilitation Unit.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced nursing leader looking to join a highly respected skilled nursing and rehabilitation team dedicated to providing exceptional resident care.
Responsibilities:- Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of a 46-bed short-term rehabilitation unit.
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care.
- Ensure compliance with all NYS Department of Health and CMS regulations.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning.
- Monitor clinical outcomes, quality measures, and resident satisfaction.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and daily workflow.
- Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, residents, and families.
- Current NYS Registered Nurse License (RN).
- Minimum of three (3) years of nursing management or supervisory experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, post-acute rehabilitation, and long-term care regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to motivate staff and foster a positive team culture.

Requirements- Current, active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience strongly preferred.
- Supervisory or leadership experience in a nursing setting preferred.
- Ability to work full-time, day shift (7 a.m.–3 p.m.) with flexibility for occasional coverage or meetings as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout an 8-hour shift; ability to assist residents with transfers and ADLs or direct staff in doing so.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer skills.
- New York State background check clearance (BCI) and New York State Health Commerce fingerprint clearance.
- Negative drug screening result.
- Current TB test (tuberculin skin test or equivalent) or documentation of immunity per facility policy.
- COVID-19 vaccination status per facility policy, or approved medical/religious exemption.
- CPR certification (ACLS preferred) or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
