Pace University, and the Lienhard School of Nursing (LSN), is seeking a dynamic nurse educator to join our Department of Undergraduate Studies as a full-time non-tenure track faculty
. LSN is part of our College of Health Professions and provides instruction for students at both our New York City and Pleasantville (Westchester County), NY, campuses.
We are seeking faculty who have didactic teaching experience in medical-surgical nursing, pathophysiology/pharmacology, and/or gerontological nursing. Candidates with other nursing specialties are welcome to apply. This is an in-person position requiring the candidate to work on campus at one or both campuses (NYC and Pleasantville) during all three semesters (fall, spring, and summer).
Requirements Required Experience and Qualifications- Must have a master's degree in nursing, with a doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, DNP, or other doctorate) preferred.
- Currently licensed or be eligible for New York State RN licensure.
- A minimum of 6 months to 1 year clinical and/or didactic teaching experience in an academic setting (academic rank and salary is commensurate with educational preparation and experience).
- Relevant practice experience in all specialties including medical surgical nursing and older adult populations.
- A deep commitment to effective teaching, developing innovative courses, mentoring students, and interprofessional practice.
- A strong commitment to and actively promote diversity, equity, and inclusiveness.
- A commitment to professional service within the University and beyond.
