Position: Clinical Manager -Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP)
Location: New York

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and evaluate staff; provide input on hiring, performance, and corrective actions.
  • Oversee daily operations, staffing assignments, and patient flow across CPEP including mobile crisis unit and inpatient.
  • Ensure compliance with OMH, CMS, Joint Commission, and hospital standards.
  • Monitor key performance metrics, incidents, and quality outcomes.
  • Support staff onboarding, training, and professional development.
  • Serve as designee in Nurse Manager’s absence, with authority for staffing and operational decisions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and represent the department in hospital initiatives.
Requirements
  • BSN required;
    Master’s preferred.
  • Current New York State RN license required.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive nursing experience preferably in psychiatry/behavioral health.
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift light office supplies (up to 20 lbs).
  • Frequent use of a computer and phone.

Salary

Salary range $,000. Day shift, 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. & covering one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday).
