Surgical Coordinator - Upper East Side

ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA) and Hümi, one of the nation’s largest ENT, Allergy, and Audiology medical practices, is seeking a Full-Time Surgical Coordinator for our Upper East Side office.

Hourly: $25/hr

• Schedule all hospital and some in‑office surgeries.
• Communicate with hospitals to perform all necessary pre‑operative requirements.
• Contact patients to explain responsibilities and all necessary pre‑operative and post‑operative requirements.
• Administer surgical prep packets to patients, which contain all required paperwork to be completed prior to surgery.
• Precertify all surgical procedures with the appropriate insurance company, verifying eligibility, deductibles, and co‑pays.

• Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Epic experience is a plus.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must have experience in the medical field and knowledge of medical insurance.
• Must have excellent communication and follow‑up skills.

• Monday: 8:30am‑5:00pm
• Tuesday: 8:30am‑5:00pm
• Wednesday: 8:30am‑5:00pm
• Thursday: 8:30am‑5:00pm
• Friday: 8:30am‑5:00pm
