We are a respected skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Brooklyn, NY
, currently seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to join our leadership team. This is a key role for a passionate RN who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is ready to lead clinical care while making a lasting impact on resident outcomes.

Position Overview

As the RN Unit Manager
, you will oversee the clinical operations of your assigned nursing unit, ensuring high-quality care and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for supervising nursing staff, supporting care planning, and maintaining communication with residents, families, and medical professionals.

Schedule
  • 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Day Shift)

  • On-Call availability required (as scheduled for emergencies and urgent needs)

Qualifications
  • Current and valid RN license in the state of New York (Required)

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
    , with at least 1 year in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting (Preferred)

  • Prior experience as a Unit Manager or Charge Nurse (Preferred)

  • Knowledge of state and federal nursing regulations

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage staff effectively while maintaining a resident‑centered approach

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily nursing care on the assigned unit

  • Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely interventions

  • Oversee staff schedules, performance, and training

  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with care plans

  • Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams

  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives

  • Provide on‑call support during off‑hours as needed

  • Additional duties & responsibilities as assigned by Administrator, DON, job description, and/or Regional Support team
