Mercy University invites nominations and applications for 12‑month faculty positions in the nursing program.
Essential Job Functions & ResponsibilitiesThis position requires the ability to teach a variety of nursing courses, including medical‑surgical, pathophysiology, and pharmacology. Teaching will emphasize high‑impact teaching practices, inclusive pedagogy, and active learning.
Required Skills & Experience- At least 3 years’ experience in an academic setting (preferred).
- Unencumbered NYS License.
- Experience teaching in an online format.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- MS in Nursing (required). DNP, PhD, or EdD (preferred).
- Must be able to perform tasks that may involve pushing, pulling, moving, or lifting up to 50 lbs, with reasonable accommodations as needed.
- Must meet all role‑specific general health and safety requirements in accordance with university policies and guidelines upon hire, with reasonable accommodations provided as needed.
