Part Time Practical Nursing Instructor

General Description

SUNY Niagara is seeking part‑time Practical Nursing Instructors to teach in the skills lab, including evaluation of skill performance. Remuneration for this position is $903 per lab hour. Paid orientation to teaching and responsibilities will be provided. Selected candidates may apply for a possible scholarship to earn a Master’s of Science in Nursing Education.

Teaching nursing skills in the lab, assessing student proficiency, preparing instructional materials, communicating with students and faculty, and maintaining laboratory equipment.

• Physically perform the duties of the position.

• Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Nursing.
• Recent (within 5 years) acute‑care experience.

• Master’s of Science degree with a major in Nursing.
• Maternity experience.
