About This Role
The Nurse Educator for Post Partum 5SB and 6SB at New York-Presbyterian is responsible for staff development, including orientation and continuing education. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who are passionate about teaching and promoting best clinical practices.
Highlights- Pay: $150,324-$161,649/Annual
- Location: New York, NY
- Facility: New York-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital
- Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift
- Conduct clinical rounds to assess staff learning needs.
- Develop course curriculum and teach classes.
- Incorporate research findings and use cutting-edge technology in education.
- Provide leadership in the development and review of Nursing Standards.
- Promote best clinical practices among nursing staff.
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or Nursing Education required
- Minimum of 4 years related experience required
- Current NYS RN licensure required
- BCLS certification through the AHA required
- Basic Life Support Instructor Certification preferred
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program Instructor preferred
- National certification in Nursing Professional Development and/or clinical specialty preferred
