Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner– General Surgery (Bariatrics) – Cooperstown, NY

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York, major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner for our Division of General Surgery.

• Join an established hospital based General Surgery group of 11 Surgeons and 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APC). Metabolic & Bariatrics subspecialty of currently 3 Surgeons and 1 APC.
• Responsibilities will include mostly OR – first assistant in large cases that require a second clinician, some outpatient clinic and call coverage
• Extensive surgical and inpatient hospital experience is essential
• Salary Range: $123,000 - $140,000 plus performance-based compensation. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
